- The Final Race pays by first drop and then by clocking order. Arrival of the first birds together will be considered a drop and paid equally – together – all prizes will be added and split equally among the first birds. If one or more birds that arrived in the first drop do not trap, these birds will be considered on the drop until another bird arrives. If a bird or more arrive and get mixed with the ones on the first drop that did not clock, they will be clocking order at this point. All other prizes after the first drop will be paid by clocking order. If there is an eligible bird on the drop that does not clock due to clock or chip malfunction, the loft manager will verify eligibility on all the birds on the drop, and after verification, this bird will be placed last in the drop order.
- All races are 24 hours from the time of release. There is no quiet time; the clock will be running until the race is finished. If no birds clock within the 24 hours, then prizes will be divided equally among the actual birds sent to that race. If all prizes are not claimed within the 24-hour window of a particular race, the remaining prizes will be divided equally among the winners.
- All races will be paid within 3 weeks of the final race (email your W-9 form if you won $600 or more). Send it via email ONLY. If you are part of a Syndicate, one person must send a complete W-9 form.
- A tax identification number recognized by the IRS W-9 form will be required before awarding any prizes valued at $600 or more, and such awards will be reported as required by IRS regulations. Send us the W-9 and specify your Loft Name.
- If you are part of a syndicate, it is your responsibility to decide on a representative and make one payment only.
